Hi,
I did my 2nd FP more than a month in advance, they didn't have any problem with that. However I feel now that it was a bad idea. My RD/ND is Sept5/12. My scheduled 2nd FP was in Mid June, I did it early on May 11th. However I am still witing for approval. I see a lot of others with RD/ND in Sept and who did there 2nd FP in June on their scheduled dates already got approvals. Only a bunch of fools like me who jumped the gun and went early are still waiting. So I advice you to wait for your scheduled date!

I went to st.Paul for early FP in May, scheduled for June15. i went there on a Saturday, around 2pm. The guard checked with people working inside and gave me ok to go in. I was told I was lucky because they had a very busy day and people went in the morning for early FP were turned away. I heard they are not that busy on Tuesdays.

Maybe your case is an exception ... but generally I know of folks that went for early FP and their cases were approved even before the original FP appt date !lp001 said:Hi,

Usually its better to do early FP -- atleast your case is complete from your end - there is nothing pending from your side.
I have not heard of any proven pattern of delay solely because someone did early FP.
GKNair: Don't worry - give your FP early.
