In my case me and my wife both were issued RFE. Both RFEs went to my Lawyer.

In my case too. I got an RFE for my son and for me. My son's RFE was sent to my previous attorney. My new attorney missed to send G-28 for my son. So my previous attorney sent it to me then I forwarded it to my new attorney. While responding to RFE they filed G-28 for my son.
In short if attorney files your case, I guess RFE will be sent to Attorney.
