Hi, I have a question for I-485 to CP transit:
I have used I-485 based EAD to work before (from OPT to EAD directly without even applying H1-B), then whether is still possible for me to apply Consular Processing(CP)?
I heard that whenever I-824 (for changing from I-485 to CP) is received by BCIS, the I-485 will be invalid and thus EAD will also be invalid. Is that true? Since I have no H1-B to backup to continue to work, then does this mean I cannot do CP?
