Question for GC holders

Anyone in this forum (those having GC) who had a DUI and still got GC- a friend filed for 485 and got DUI after FP - is waiting for approval.

If someone has had a similar experience and could share - it would be appreciated.

Once saw DUI convict got GC before 9-11. don't know
the deal after 9-11.

I personally think unless terrorist use nuclear weapons,
DUI is a much bigger threat to American public than
terrorists so far as the sheer number of victim is
concerned.
 
HELP!! DUI & Record clearence

I was going through the posts in this forum.
I had thought that DUI will not cause any problems in my GC.
I had a DUI in Nov'2000 .I have filed my labor and the state has forwarded the file to ATL DOL(03/23/03).
I am yet to file my 140/485.

I had a .08 BAC (on limit).I did plead guilty .I had to too undergo ADETS class,community service and had my license revoked for a year.

I had a h1 transfer after my license was revoked.(had no complications)

i had couple of questions related to my case.
1)Should i be disclosing the DUI information when i file 140/485 concurrently?
2)If yes,what are the documents i need to attach with my file?
3)How can I apply for a record clearance (expunge of records)?


I would be thankful if any of you guys can answer my queries.


Any comments will be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply.This is a amazing forum!!!

State is NC.Since,the BAC was 0.08 ,i was let go after they made me take the Breathlyser test.However,my license was revoked for a year.

Should i be dsicussing this with my Attorney?

IS this going to have serious implications on my GC process?
