Question for EB-1EA filing: New Info, please advice urgently

I am quite hopeful that my application for EB-1EA will be submitted electronically next week. I have almost all the material ready, just waiting on a couple of letters. I am planning to take PP route. My question is,

1). Should I opt for PP right when I submit my I-140 form or wait till they receive the supporting material.

2). If I go for PP (electronically) after they receive the material, then do I need to mail anything or they will know automatically that I have requested for PP and process the case within 15 days.

Thanks and need your blessings as I begin journey for the coveted GC.

1. Its better to wait till they receive all the supporting documents. It doesn't make sense to do PP before that anyway, unless you want an RFE :)

2. I guess once they receive the documents, you can go for PP electronically and everything should be fine.

I am in the same boat as you. I have e-filed and almost ready to send the supporting documents. Once they receive it next week, I will go online and upgrade my application to PP.

Good luck...

Thanks for the reply, gc-eb1ea. I checked with my attorney about premium processing for EB-1EA and this is what they wrote back:

"On the USCIS web site, it clearly says “Only if the I-140 beneficiary selects Petition Type "e" - A professional (at a minimum, possessing a bachelor's degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor degree) or a skilled worker (requiring at least two years of specialized training or experience) in Part 2. For all other petition types, the e-Filed Form I-140 is not available for premium processing.”

If you want to e-file your I-140, the form I-907 for premium processing cannot be concurrently filed."

What should I say in response to this? Reading this forum, I am sure we can do it as this is what almost everyone is doing. But, are they looking at something else? Please advice urgently.

As far as I understand, you cannot upgrade to PP online for EB11 I-140. You have to submit paper copy of I-907. But I could be completely wrong. Please verify it or send the I-907 by mail to be on the safe side.

gc_eb1ea,
Could you advise us how you answered the question "are you authorized to centralising filing or sole jurisdiction..." Yes or No?
Thanks for sharing.
