question for all those who changed jobs after 180 days.

If your 140 was approved and days on 485 > 180 plus u had a active H1 say for next 2 years
Then
did u change ur job and come on EAD .i mean did u let ur H1 invalidate .i would like to know whether people have done this. i see many people who have been advocating to keep H1B but honestly if u want to go out in the market and make use of AC21, u need to say 'I HAVE EAD AND DONT NEED ANY SPONSOR'. If we ask them for H1 transfer ...it doesnt help. what do you say ??. please those who have done this let me know so that i know for a fact that though there is some risk but still worth taking.

I dont understand your question. if you've EAD go ahead and use it for AC-21.
There is no rish on using EAD for AC-21. Some people just have a opinion that
its safe to be on H1 status in case 485 will have any issues but its just their
a opinion. There is no rule which supports that opinion. Hope this clears your query.

actually i am trying to see if people have used EAD to use AC21 and in the process gave up their H1B. from ur response it seems like it is fine to do this.
 
i did it. even though i have almost year (8th year extension) left on H1B. But mine is a fulltime job.

can u please tell me one thing. when u did interview .. did u tell them that u were using ac21 etc or did u just say that i have ead and need no sponsor ship. also how did u get similar job desc as was in ur labor. i mean did u tell ur employer abt this ac21 thing or u just took the job for now and in future if u get rfe u will request them for letter etc.
 
I am new at this forum and I have aquestion if any one can answer. I was sposered by employer A and I worked for more than a year after my filing of 485 so I qualify for AC21. I changed my job and I now work for employer B and job is the same. My original employer was indicted for some immigration(employment related case). He applied for too many labors and all those people had no intention of working for him after getting their green card.

My real question is that the fate of employer A would affect my case because I no longer work for him and I did work for him for more than a year and used Ac 21 legally.

Please help if any one know something about this kind matters
