Question For All I-485 Waiters Notice Date Oct

RD: 9/27/00 ND: 10/27/00

I DID CALL IIO IN THE YESTERDAY(08/16/01) MORNING, I CALLED HER BECAUSE
I SAW SOME APPROVALS OF NOTICE DATE 10/30/00.

SHE TOLD ME MY CASE IS PENDING.

SHE SAID THEY ARE PROCESSING FOR RD 10/01/00. I TOLD HER THAT MY RD WAS BEFORE
10/1/00, IT IS 09/27/00.
SHE SAID THEY GO BY THE TIME THEY ENTER YOUR INFORMATION IN THE SYSTEM, SO
ACCORDING TO THEM MY RD IS 10/27/00 AND NOT 9/27/00. SHE ASKED ME TO WAIT FOR
ANOTHER 3 TO 4 WEEKS.

I HAD A QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS. WHEN I CHECK MY I485 STATUS THROUGH AVM, THE
MACHINE SAYS "BLAH ..BLAH YOUR APPLICATION WAS RECEIVED ON 10/27". NOW
10/27 IS MY NOTICE DATE.

IS THIS WITH EVERYONE OR JUST ME THEY ARE SCREWING ?
 
RD vs ND

It is the same with everyone. The AVM\'s RD is actually Receipt\'s ND.

But there is a confusion on the processing date of INS. If that is the receipt\'s RD or ND. When they say they are processing 10/01 they actually process October ND cases and so on.

I think they go by a combination of all the dates, RD,ND,FP,PD all of it in an order only known to INS. Otherwise I don\'t see how some people with later dates in October have been approved while there are still many in the previous months waiting. Also if you\'ve noticed from immitracker, all the October approvals so far have NDs starting from October 10 upwards. All the earlier dates are still waiting.
