Question current PD...

Hello immigration gurus,

I have the following question:

My PD is Jan 28 97 and I am in the EB3 category (India) with a I485 ND 02/22/2000 on a O1 visa. I see that the PD current cut off date is Feb 08, 1997. If INS starts to process 485 adjudications for EB3 India, will they process the application which have current PDs like mine or how do they process it... what\'s the significance of PD being current at this time...

VSC is currently processing I-485 applications filed in August 1999. I think you have filed your I-485 in February 2000. So, when they start processing I-485 applications filed in February 2000, they will process the application if and only if the PD is current. In your case it is current. So, you do not have to worry.
