Question about what to send in with Form N-400

Hi,

I just have 2 quick questions regarding form n-400 and the required documents:

1) I have been a permanent resident since November 2007. My greencard was granted based on my marriage beginning May 2007. I am still happily married to the same husband. On the n-400, do I check the 5 year permanent residency option? I'm guessing that means less work for USCIS, so it would be the better choice?

2) If I choose the 5 year option, do I really only send in the application, fee, and photographs? I am confused because I was told they want to see tax returns and such to prove my good moral character. Do I send those in or take them to the interview? I don't want to send in too much but at the same token also not too little. Originally, I checked the "married at least years.." option because I am still married, so I have all the required documents ready to go for that option. Should I include them or not?

We don't have any children and none of the other conditions listed on the document checklist apply to me.

Thank you so much for your help.

Choose the 5 year option and send fees, photos and copy of green card with N-400. Tax returns are not needed with application. if anything else is required, USCIS will request it for the interview.
