question about use of EAD

I recently got my EAD through company A, I also have valid hi visa from company A. I want to take up a second job on week ends with company B by using EAD. my questions are:
1. Do both company A & B have to file I-9.
2. I know that my H1 gets nullified if I use EAD, Do I need to inform INS to cancel my H1 !
 
No need to cancel your H1

You could use your EAD to work for as many companies as you want. Currently you do not have to do anything except work for both A and B as you intend.

EAD means-- you are authorized to work, anywhere, anytime by the expiring date.
