I got approved this May and my wife's case is still pending. My wife has booked ticket to go home for the whole month of July. Supprisingly, she got the 2nd FP notice this week. We tried to get early FP in Oakland but got denied. We'll try again in SJ tomorrow. The question is what is gonna happen if she travel with AP and outside of US and get approved during this period. Can she still come back by using AP?

As you expected, the movement GC approved, AP automatically gets canceled.
In other words, she get locked her self out side US.

There is no rule like this. Your wife's AP should be good enough for reentry (if you any doubt consult to an attorney just to make sure). AP is valid for the time period specified in AP, regardless of your I485 is approved or not. When you get your passport stamped after I485 approval, normally the USCIS officer takes back all the APs/EAD cards or asks your to destroy them - because you don't need them anynore. There is no concept of "automatic cancellation".

I hope you were joking when you posted that. Other than that there is no excuse for blatantly bad advise.

ensure,

If your wife gets approved when she is travelling on her AP, then all she needs to do is enter the country on her AP. Where she will have to go for secondary inspection in any case. There they will take her AP and ask her to go for deferred stamping. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Well, it is pretty obvious to travel once you have AP. Also it is not a
ticking time bomb to become invalid the movement 485 is approved.
If not it doesn’t make any sense to use AP at all.
Don’t you think OP knows about this simple thing.

You know what! Some times I see dumb postings from approved guys.
Looks like once the case is approved brain doesn’t work at its
full capacity, does it!

This assumption itself is dumb. Ignorance is not dumbness. Legal/immigration rules are sometimes so complex and confusing when I don't know them properly or partially know them. But when I learn the rules fully in extensive way, they look so simple, obvious and logical. That's why attorneys are richer than us. We learn legal stuffs through education - just like maths, science or programming. It's not a natural thing that ought to come in a logical mind naturally. Therefore, it's possible that a guy with good IQ, but not educated in immigration rules would ask a dumb question here - especially when it's not exactly a simple learning, but going to lots of frustration in life, getting tensed up in various phases of immigration related things.
