I have a question about the process for applying GC. I am currently living in the US doing my OPT. I read on the instructions that for the selected, you have to file the I-485 and other info. But for selected people that are not in the US, they have to fill in DS-230.
I'm wondering is it true that I just need I-485 or do I need to file DS-230 too?
And, when should I start sending out my forms? is it recommended that I do it ASAP or do I have to wait a little bit?
I have case no. 17XXX, am I safe?
Kind of confused with all the forms....any help would be great!
