I received an email form USCIS regarding the RFE. The contents of the email are as follows.

What does this usually mean? Is the next thing going to be the Interview.

After REF

hi glorya, how many LUD did u get afte USCIS received ur REF. my REF was recevied on 1st Nov. 06 and i had LUD yesterday on I 458 and I 765. what does this mean? any light

hi,
We have very similar situation.
I received RFE around Mid-September, and received the same notice around late September. Nothing after that.
From this forum I found there is certain Do office especially slow and right now the EAD process seems slower than before as well.
oh...also, I had never received any LUD, dont' even know how to find it out.
I think the holiday wont' help our process.

good luck to everyone and me.... :(

I received the exact same email update on my case after mailing in requested documents that were missing from my application. I think this generally means they have everything or so I've been told and the next step would be an interview. But this can take a while.

Received on 10/19/2006

Lud I-485 10/24/2006

Interview letter received 11/7/2006

I think you might be getting your EAD soon :)

I never received my EAD, even after calling uscis multiple times. I got my green card before getting the EAD. the interviewer told me not to worry about it, and if I ever did receive my EAD to get rid of it, as my green card holds the same value.

I realise now, I could have saved money and not applied for an EAD in the first place, lol.
