Question about the recorded Status Message on Case Status

Does the message change after the 2nd Finger printing process is done?

My wife recently did her 2nd FP during November 2003. But the message still says "On april 10, 2002 we received your FP blah blah blah...". Shd it say "On Nov xx, 2003 " ???

I did my 1st FP in March, 03 but my status still says "we have sent you the notice to appear for finger print .....". I even checked with FBI and they said they have sent my FP to INS within a month after it was recorded. But unfortunately no change in the online status.

I called BCIS customer service and according to them online status means nothing. They are supposed to update the status but if they did not that does mean that my case is not being worked ...

My 2nd FP was never update by the website. cs folks told me that it's not mandatory to update the system.
