Question about sending the passport

Hi Everybody:

I had applied for the Canadian immigration and have finally been asked to send my passport for stamping of the immigrant visa. I have gone through a lawyer based in Canada.

My lawyers have asked that I should send my passport to them in Canada, so that they can send it to Buffalo along with the other necessary documents.

I wanted to clarify whether it is legal for me to send the passport to Canada, from where the lawyers will send it to Buffalo. I will be grateful if the experts could their opinion on this. I hold an Indian passport and am currently on an H1.

Hi

I sent my passport to my lawyers and they sent it back to me stamped. Since you have a lawyer, its better to do it through them. It is just delayed 2-3 days extra, for courier.
