Question about RFE

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever received an RFE requesting a Joint Sponsor for I 864 ?
I know that some people who didnt file I 864 got an RFE for that, But has anyone filed an I 864 and got an RFE saying that the money is below the minimum and that they need a joint sponsor?

Hi alexdolly,

Just wondering if you already responded to your RFE. If not, you may have any friends or relatives who are willing to be your joint sponsor. If they live with you, they need to file an I-864A, otherwise, they will file another I-864. You have to submit this ASAP. Mine got delayed and in effect delayed my EAD bec. they hold the processing of my AOS :(.
