Question about RFE on tax return 1040 Form

When INS require tax return 1040 form, Does anyone know that we should send the 1040 form of our own copy or we have to send the certified copy from IRS?
 
I sent copies of copies that I had...

they weren\'t signed - signature is the last thing on my tax forms just as i am putting them in the envelope, and that is after i am done making copies..

My case hasn\'t been adjudicated so i wouldn\'t know if this would work?

but i have asked for transcripts from the IRS for my tax returns in case of an RFE.. someone had posted a 1-800 phone number for that.. look around and you should find it on this discussion board
