The information required is for a friend of mine. He is currently on H1 visa and is looking for a client. The company which sponsored the H1 is in, say place A (for the sake of discussion). While he is looking for a client, can he relocate to some other place (place B in a different state) ?
Is there any rule that stipulates that he should live in the same place where the H1 sponsoring company is (place A in this example)? Can he live in place B and look for a client from there?
