Question about reciept with exception

I submitted my N400 application to VSC and recieved the reciept notice today. The notice says that it has exception due to missing evidences. Does not say what evidences are missing but suggests to bring them during interview. It is mentioned that I will be notified separately about missing evidences. Is this normal?

Thanks

did you mention about the traffic ticket / citiation ... etc?

i heard it is ok and they would send you another letter for requesting additional documents

I have seen on many of these threads that people do receive recipt notices that indicate that they have missing evidence. Perhaps in your case, you made mention of traffic tickets etc., but did not include paperwork indicating their disposition. I suppose you will find out for sure when they send you the list of missing evidence...

ocworker and hvn400, thanks for your replies! Yes, I had mentioned traffic citation on N400. I did included the proof that I paid the fine (copies from county office) but I did not include them for my wife. However, both of us got the same receipt notice. I'll wait for the letter regarding the missing evidence.

from what i read, as long as a person answered the yes / no questions which they said something otherwise and require explaination, their receipt letter would say missing evidence.. etc

i guess you are alright.

Eagercitizen,
I got the same letter and was curious too. When I received the interview notice they asked me to bring Selective Service status letter (which I already included in the application) together with other things like passport, green card, etc. So I assume they either did not see the status letter I sent or lost it. Basically I am trying to say try not to worry.
