Question about plasric card's process after I485 approval

Hello Friends,
I received I 485 approval on 11/8/2004 from Texas service center. I already stamped my passport at Detroit local office on 11/17/04.
(1) Who would actually process the plastic card? Local office (Detroit) or Service center (Texas)
(2) Is there any way you can check the status of plactic card ? Or Do you need to track your I 485 case on USCIS.gov for status of plastic card?
(3) How long does it take to get the plastic card from TSC or from Detroit local office?

Card issue system is centeralized, the office who stamped filled out application 'creation of record I-181' on ur behalf.

Yes, keep checking ur existing Receipt #, It would say 'Card Ordered''
sample:

"On June 17, 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received..."
