Question about Oath Ceremony

I am taking my Oath in Los Angeles next week and I had two questions.

Some folks had mentioned that I can apply for my passport on the day of the ceremony itself. Is that true? If so, what other documents do I need to have with me in order to have it processed? Also, I need to file for expedited processing. Is that also an option?

Also, I have travelled outside the country one time for 14 days since the time of the interview. Is that an issue?

After my Oath ceremony in Las Vegas the USPS had set a Passport processing area. I beleive this is also done in LA even though you have far more candidates for citizenship.
