I understand that in order to qualify for N-470, the Alien must:
(1) establish that he or she has been physically present and residing in the United States for an uninterrupted period (that is, without any absence whatsoever) of a least one year after lawful admission for permanent residence,
(2) submit the N-470 application to the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) before he or she has been absent from the United States for a continuous period of one year.
Hypothesis and question:
Assume my AOS is approved 1/1/2004
I travel for one month from 3/1/2004 to 4/1/2004
Will I be forever disqualified to apply for N-470?, or
Will I be able to apply for N-470 if I reside physically in the US for one year after my last entry 4/1/2004?
