This is my situation

Sent I-485 on 9/2005
Receipt Notice on 10/2005

Receipt Notice said,

If this receipt is for an I-90, I-485, or I-698 application
Biometrics-(Fingerprint, Photo, Signature)
The next step is to have your biometrics taken at the USCIS applicationsupport center (ASC). Call customer service at 1.800.375.5283 to schedule your appointment. ----

Then I did so and then after two LUD changes my LUD was 11/05. Then there was no LUD change until last month. Then they asked medical and new Biographic info.

After send all those requested items, LUD changed to following,

On July 5, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register

I gave Biometric on first week of November, 2005.

By that time, the officer who took my biometric said, I may get another latter for biometric, But don’t come again.

He stamped and signed on my receipt notice.

My problem, as I got an information through this forum, the fingerprint expire after 15 months, and according to the above receipt notice , Do I have to go for a Finger Print again?

(Basically, Do I need to stay another period to get my card?)

Or, is there any way to give biometric by myself?

Any body has the same experience? Or, is there any advice to cool down my hart?

Message to some other forum members: keep me away from your personal attack, insults and derogatory comments. I am here trying to assist to those in need of legal assistance.

Biometrics is coded 1, 2 & 3, meaning fingerprint, picture & signature.
Depending on what code you did, ...however picture and signature may not expire but fingerprints expired after 15 months.

With the fingerprints digitalized machine, the captured prints could be kept longer than 15 months Vs the traditional analogue fingerprints.
Anyway for you to be able to redo your fingerprints it has to be scheduled at ASC by the service center where your petition is pending.

Patience and wait, we are on the same board, mine expired as well.
