Hello, I have tried calling UCIS or at least tried to get a hold of an Agent who I can freely ask questions but the automate message has no options for me at all.
I wanted to know more information about immigration. Please excuse my language/legal terms if I have used them incorrectly.
My situation is: My whole family is already here in United States except for my little sister who is a minor (currently 15years of age) and living with my Auntie in the Philippines.
My father was divorced to my mother when he came here. When my father was eligible to bring us here in United States, he did so in 1999. At this time around, my family consists of three.. my father, my little brother and I.
When I have finally established a stable income (just enough to feed us) to support both my mother and my own family (my wife and my 1 year old son), as soon as I was eligible to bring my mother here in United States, I did so, in November 11, 2008, which was few months ago.
Now, my father who was the one helping us with all these immigration papers, have concluded that my little sister would be included in the petition along with my mother since she is only a minor. But he was wrong, the embassy/(or whoever was in charge) mentioned that my sister needed her own papers to be processed for an immigrant visa here in United States.
So overall, my father, my mother, my little brother, and I are already here in United States.. While my little sister who is only 15years old is still left behind in the Philippines living with my second-cousin Auntie..
Please, I need serious information on how I could approach this situation in a legal manner. Please if you could give me a direct line (not an automate message) of a immigration officer representative that I could talk to and freely asks questions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much, I look forward to your response!
