Question about LCA - labor condition approval

It will not hurt if you carry it with you. If you have a copy of your I-140 filling then it will have a copy of your labor certification. And that can be kept as a backup.

Hi,

In my case my lawyer sent back this LCA, along with a bunch of other docs, once the I-140 was approved and I let her know I had decided to do the CP process on my own. I think you should ask you lawyer about this doc. It does not hurt to carry it to the interview.

Good luck

I am assuming LCA - Labor Condition Approval and GC Labor are two different things - LCA is needed for the state where we are working?

Can someone clarify this issue -

Thanks,

LCA and LC are different.

LCA is the Labor Condition Approval and is the basis for the H1
Visa.

LC or Labor Certification is the basis for the Green Card and is
the first step.

For the IV interview there is no need to carry the LCA.

If you have a copy of the LC then carry that along with the I-140
filing copy.
