Question about layoff

Hi gurus,

I have applied for I-140 and I-485 concurrently, I am waiting for I-140 at this point.

Today, I have realized that there has been two lay-offs in our company, The company has a lot of hiring recently however due to organizaional changes two positions were closed and people got layed off.

Do you know what would be the impact of this on my I-140 and I-485? Is there anything that I could do,

As long as you werent laid off it does not affect you. Also, if you self petitoned then it does NOT affect you at all. Even if you were to lose your job.
