Question about I130 & I485

Please does anyone know if these two applications are approved together or individually? I know that the I485 is approved at the interview but what about I130? If I130 is approved prior to the I485 interview, do we get a CRIS notification to that effect? Thanks
 
It (i-130) is usually adjudicated at the same time the I-485, at the interview.

You get an email informing you of its approval, after the interview has taken place.
 
I asked because of this response Aymannada got at her interview: "At the end, he said "Did you know if your I-130 was approved?" I said No, I am not sure if it is approved or not. He said that is weird... You case is approved and every thing is cleared, but how come you or I don't have any approval on your I-130. "I will find out". Than he wrote an email to California Service center and he told me they usually respond on the same day. Otherwise, I would have stamped your approval today, but I just need them to send me the I-130 approval first."

I do not recall entirely, but I believe she filed the I-130 separately. A few months ahead, and the she realized she could have sent all the forms together and filed the AOS package with the I-130 receipt.

In that case, her I-130 was somewhere else, waiting to be approved.
