question about I-864

:)I just got my citizenship and would like to petition my parent,a quick question about I-864. I know it would be long away before I get to that stage but anyone can guide me and give me advice through this before I go ahead and file a petition to them would really be helpful and appreciated.the question is I don't have income but I would like to use the income of my husband to be able to petition my parent.is that possible.
 
You can use anyone in your household including your parent assets to qualify. You can get another joint sponsor.
For now just file I-130 for your parent if they live oversea and they will take it from there.

:)that really give me an idea..right now I am gathering all the document needed to file for petition for them.I just have my birthcertificate but I still need to have some secondary document for my dad since they don't have a marriage certificate.thanks alot...
