question about I-485 interview

Hello all,

Firstly thank you for all the support and serious advice. I have followed it eagerly. My situation:

Unmarried child of US Citizen over 21 - Family Pref 1
Filed I-130 - Sept 2000
I-130 Approval - July 2001
Priority date arrived May 2004
Submitted I-485/I-765 to San Jose office May 21, 2004
EAD received - June 14, 2004
FP - July 1, 2004
I-485 interview set 12/7/04

Does my sponsor (parent) need to be there in the interview? What is asked of me? What should I be prepared for.

Any advice/experience will help.

You don't need sponsor to be with you unless appointment letter specifically instructed you to do so.

Normally they like to see proof of relationship based on which you are asking immigration benefit. Just carry all the docs you submitted to USCIS along with I-130 & I-485.
