question about how Contractor to fill I-864

Hi,

I wan to apply green card for my parents. But I am working as a contractor. How to fill the item 22 in I-864? Should I check a. Employed as a/an___; b. Self employed as a/an ___; c. Retired from__; or d.Unemployed since ___?

From the instruction, it seems we need submit $70 fee since my parents are in USA. But still want to confirm, since this is the first time I heard this fee.

Contractors (self employed) income gets reported on Schedule C part of 1040. You should write net income from schedule c in line b line 22 of I-864. You do not have to submit $70.00 for I-864 processing. You say your parents are here, they you submit I-485 for them, The fee you pay for I-485 gets covered for processing
