Question about Green card

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and I have a question about my Fiance obtaining a green card.

My fiance's mother was recently married and I would like to know would this interfere with her getting a green card through our marriage?

Your fiance's mother's marriage will have no effect on your fiance's eligibility for a green card.

However, that marriage would affect the household size count for the Affidavit of Support if your fiance's mother or her spouse is going to be a joint sponsor for your fiance's green card.

Sorry to but in here but dont know how to start a new thread. I have a question about sponsoring a immediate family member who has over stayed a visa waiver. Is there any way to do it or do they have to leave and then come back?
Please any info would be great

To start a new thread, look on the left side of the forum about a half-screen down from the top of the page for "+ Post New Thread".

In your new thread, please provide more details of the situation, such as whether you are a US citizen, and is your "immediate family member" your spouse, parent, or a child who is 21 or older, under 21, under 19, or under 18 (the age of the child can make a big difference when it comes to the consequences of an overstay). Also say how long they overstayed.
