I'm going to my oath ceremony tomorrow (Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA) and would like to ask some questions:
1) what is the appropriate attire for men? I will be going to work after the ceremony so my normal work attire is business shirt (long sleeve buttondown shirt) + slack + light windbreaker jacket. is this ok for the ceremony?
2) are we allowed to bring a backpack into the venue? I'll be carrying my backpack containing my work laptop, papers, etc. I'll be taking public transit tomorrow so I won't have any place to store my backpack if they won't allow it into the hall.
3) if anyone went to oath ceremony at Paramount Theater recently, how long does the process last? when did you get your certificate... when you arrived or after the ceremony?
