Question about FP notice for N400

I submitted my N400 application on Jan 13. As of today, I have not received FP notice yet. I see most people get their finger print notice in less than 3 weeks, does anyone has any suggestion?

cchong, did you receive a receipt letter from USCIS about your N-400 application? Don't worry as I can see in your signature that USCIS has already cashed your check therefore they will send your finger print letter soon. Now processing time has improved a lot. I filed mine back in end of November & my oath date is March 12th. As you can see it all takes only 3 months to process my case. Good luck.

call them as soon as you can..you will get relief just only to know an answer...so don;t wait too much,,good luck and blessings

Hi Atique,

I see most people get their FP notice very soon. That is why I am confused why it is taking so long for me. At first I was not worry, but now I am wonder what is going on with my case. I will make an infopass appointment as want has suggested.

update

I could not get an infopass appointment until mid March so I decided to call the customer service instead.
They opened a service request for me regarding my FP notice, unfortunately it might take another 45 days. This is frustrating.

thank you. I just called them and will need to wait for another 45 days. This is frustrating.

update

I don't understand I just checked my online status and it said my case has been transferred to a local office and an interview will be scheduled. Well, I guess it is a good news.

What is interesting is that I did not get my FP notice for my N400 application; perhaps, the FP I did last time when I applied for I-131 is still good. I have no idea.

Wow really? I think they missed a step. They dont take old fingerprints from I-131. You need to go to infopass as soon as possible because what will happen is during your interview, you will be told that your FP are not cleared since you never took them & you won't be approved.

So its better you sort this out before your interview.

Hi want,

Thanks for the advice. I had scheduled an appointment for March 10, but I cancelled it after I saw my case got updated. Now, I just made another appointment and the earliest appointment date is March 15.

Yes, I did not receive any FP notice for my N400 application. After I saw my case transferred to local office today I incorrectly assumed the FP I did last time is still good.

You will probably get an interview 6 weeks from March 3rd. So you have enough time. In case you don't get this resolved through infopass, just go to the interview & let the officer know that you were never fingerprinted for N400 and wondering if they used your old FPs....I am telling you to tell this because the last thing you want to be is approve and then rescinded because of this issue..which is actually a big deal.

Thanks want.

I hope to get this resolve soon. As I mentioned in my prior posts, I actually called USCIS two days ago about not getting the FP notice and the customer service rep created a service request for me. I received a status update regarding the service request yesterday, but it did not actually address the intent of the call. I called again yesterday and told the rep that I actually have never gotten a FP notice. Of course, I don't know what is going on with that call since my online status is now showing that my case has been transferred to local office.

I hope I will get my FP notice soon; otherwise, I will wait until March 15 for my infopass appointment to resolve the issue. It is useless to call the national number again.

I just received my interview letter today and my interview is scheduled on April 6. I hope I get to resolve my FP issue in time.

I did not get my FP notice yet (3 weeks since the case status says it has been mailed). What happened in your case? Did you take the infopass appointment?. I see that your status says you are citizen I guess things went smoothly. Could you please let me know what happened?

Thanks.
