Hi - My timeline is in my signature - basically I've been waiting on FBI name check for about 10 months approx. I sent a letter inquiring about my status with the NBC at Lee's Summit, MO and I got a form letter 2 days back which has the following box checked.
"Our records show that your petition or application is pending at this time and has been transferred to the USCIS office at DALLAS, TX"
What does this mean? Is the FBI name check complete or is this just wishful thinking on my part? My LUD is April 17th, so that indicates no action at all. Any pointers?

March 21st, 2007 LUD on I-130
April 15th, 2007 Fingerprinting
April 17th, 2007 LUD on I-485
May 25th, 2007 Received 70 day letter
June 8th, 2007 Filed for I-131 and I-765
July 15th, 2007 Received EAD and AP
Oct 23rd, 2007 Infopass (case pending under Namecheck)
Dec 7th, 2007 Infopass (received printout describing status)
Dec 28th, 2007 received letter from NBC saying case is pending (in response to inquiry)
