Is there a requirement that a Citizen filing for Green Card for his/her Sibling should be physically present in US.
We got our citizenship in November 2008 and my wife plans on applying for GC for her brother and his wife along with their 2 year old son. It seems the current timeline for this category is about 12 years and i myself am not sure if i will be residing in US then. I will surely be retaining my US Citizenship but i may or may nor be physically residing here in US.
Hence my question is, is there any requirement that the person filing for GC should be residing in US....
