question about eb3

My husband is a eb3 h1 and he is waiting in retrogression, in order to cut the waiting time hw wants to applied for dV visa lottery. I have read a lot of people who have applied and in the time they lost they h1 status.

I am not sure is this is a good strategy. Does anybody any idea about this topic that can help us.

If I want to win from a lottery, I want to win the MegaMillions.
I didn't get it last night and will try it again this Friday.

BTW, I am stucked in EB3 ROW retro and also filed the DV VISA every year.
