Hi,

In the signature card, there is a provision for a finger print...do we have to send in a finger print along with the signature? or is it not
necessary? if so, is it the right index finger? how do we finger print? just dip it in some ink and put an impression on the paper? (My attorney sent a photocopy of this signature card...will that do? or do we need the original?)

Thankyou!

I don\'t think you need any finger prints for an EAD Application. On EAD Card also the FP are left blank. I didn\'t do it and I didn\'t hear anybody doing it either.

I was told there is no need for fingerprints. I have filed for EAD twice and have not had to put my fingerprints

I did give my thumb print on that card. it is appearing now in my EAD card. Regarding Right or Left thumb -- It does not matter. Any one thumb is ok. Regarding how to do it? Get one stamp pad or ink pad (available in office supplier stores ) and press it. Try with normal paper for few times and put the final thumb on it.

Good luck...

P.S. I was also told nowadays INS is not particular about thumb print.
