Question about EAD & AP renewal

Hi friends,

I have a quick question about renewal of EAD & AP. My current expiration date is in May but we are planning to travel to India in Dec and my wife wants to return after 4 months. During her stay in India, we need to file for renewal before 100 days of expiration date and but at that time my wife will be in India.

Is it possible to file for the renewal now means 6 months before the expiration date ? if we file now maybe we can go to India in Jan after getting new EAD and AP and my wife can stay 3 to 4 months in INdia.

As per the new guide line from USCIS, you should file for EAD and AP before 6 months of expiration. This will avoid unnecessay delays
