Question about EAD an waiting time

I have job which I am supposed to start on Dec 3 but I still dont have an EAD

the last one they requested proof taht I had gone for finger prints and last message said that I have to wait 60 more day to get a decision

so any idea if i am getting it ?

I would like to know how we are supposed to live if you cant work without EAD and what are you to do in the mean time ???
 
EAD is a benefit that allows an individual to work on filing I-485. Only other option is to possess an alternate work visa.
