Question about different Service Centers

Hi Guys,

I am new to this so I have a couple of questions,

I have just had my LC/PERM approved and I am going to file for I140.

Is the Service center that your document go your choice or is it based on where you live or is it completely random?

In any case which Service Center would be faster?

Depends upon where you live. Check I-485 instructions. I140 and I485 may be filed concurrently if you wish. However, you can file I485 only if you LC priority date (PD) is current. Google Visa bulletin and check if your PD is current in the latest one. There is no such restriction on filing I140.

In any case which Service Center would be faster?

Cant be said. One can only track the approval rates via various trackers.
