Question about concurrent application

Hi,

Applied to I-140 in May, got RFE in November. Planning to file 485, but the new concurent filling law says if your I-140 is denied, filling fees for 485 and other will not be returned.

Please clear.

485 fees ($255) is for each individual, means seperate for myself and wife thus making a total of ($510) or just $255 who is filling for 485 and not for other family members.

Also if I-140 is denied and applied again, 485 application is not valid and have to apply again?

$255 is for each individual case and if you and your wife are filling, then you have multiply 2 * $255.

Regd your second question, if I-140 is denied then you don't have a case and your I-485 becomes invalid and you have to start all again.

Good luck and don't worry about Money as time is more valuable than Money at this point of time.
