Question about "Check your status case online"

Hi everyone,

I think somebody can help because this forum is very interesting. I had my interview for asylum and I was checking in the web page in "Check your status online" and when I send my receipt number I got this message:

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application.

I want to know what is the meaning of this message???? I didn't receive any answer by immigration in my mail.

You wont be able to check your status online because you just had your initial asylum interview, and your receipt number is different from those as they have as example,right?
How have you been waiting for the reply? Did they give you any paper asking you to come back for the result in 2 weeks? If not, and you have been waiting a long time(like more than a month), it is best that you call the office where you had your interview and ask them what is happening to your case,Dont waste your time calling 1-800 number.Due to the specific type of the case(asylum) they wont give you any required information.

That's right. You cannot possibly check your status online. If it has been a while since you've been interviewed, try to get in touch with your IO.
