Question about changing a job

Hi,
my WAC# is 02056XXXXX.
Just like you all, I've waited for a good news for more than 3 years.

Unfortunately, I got a bad new first. I'll get laid off at the end of this month. I'm trying to find a new job.

My question is.. do I need to find a new sponser? Or can I work for any full-time job without sponser? My collegue says I don't need a sponser since more than 180 days passed since i-485 filing. But I feel I need a sponser until I get the greencard. Which is correct?

If you want to use AC21 you have to find a full time permanent position with the same duties as described in your LC. In case of RFE your new employer have to write employment verification letter to USCIS
 
You don't need a new sponser. Use ur EAD and join the new job
with same/similar duties as in your LC. If you want to retain your
H1 status, then you have to go for H1 transfer.

Use AC21 and work with ur EAD Card. You will have 90 days from time fo RFE to reply to it.
