Hello all,

Anyone knows how to do? and thanks so much for any suggestion.

My situation is that I changed job from MA to CA due to layoff at about the same time I received the interview letter.

My current plan is I will fly back to attend the interview, my question is If I can ask them to schedule the Oath ceremoney to CA or not, and if YES, how long will it delay.

Another option is that I call them to ask them schedule the interview in CA, I guess that will delay the whole process quite a bit.

Thanks again for any suggestion.

You need to notify USCIS of address change. By law, you have to be a resident of the district where you reside for at least three months before the interview so you will need to notify USCIS that you have moved and then wait for them to take further action on your application. In all likelyhood, they will delay the processing of your application until you have lived in CA for over three months. I would advise against traveling back to MA for the interview as you are no longer a resident of MA unless you still consider MA to be your primary residence.
