Question about Case Status dissappearing...

I hear some stories that when your case status disappears online it means that you should get your interview letter soon after. Is this true?

Because my status still shows "pending" and I want to know if this means that I shouldn't be expecting the letter until status disappears online.

If your case status has disappeared it probably means that your interview letter is on it's way. But on the other hand if your case status has not disappeared it does not mean that your interview letter is not on it's way. A lot of people here have made it through the entire process (including oath) with their case status still showing 'pending'. Good luck !

My case status has not changed online since they received my application in February but I have Interview in August......

I hope you hear something soon.....
 
Thanks for your replies. BTW, does anyone know when the case processing times get updated? It's still saying June 15th. I know the dates are unreliable but I'm just wondering when they get updated.

They are updated around the middle of the month and so I think the July update should be due anytime now. The processing dates typically move ahead by a month each month.

I had my interview 6 weeks ago and I am scheduled for the Oath in 3 weeks. However, my case is still pending on the website! Do not trust that page!!!! Go for an info pass if you want a real update.
