Question about case portfolio on USCIS website...

Hi Everyone

By now I'm sure most of you have seen the new case portfolio on the USCIS website. This is the site where you can setup email alerts relating to your case.

I had a questions about "Last updated" field on that portfolio. Does anyone know what that field means.

The reason I ask is because this field is showing a date of 5/30/2003 for my I-140 and I-485 cases. My finger prints were cleared on 7/10/2003. However I filed 140 on 12/6/2002 and 485 on 4/16/2003. My 140 is still not cleared.

I'm getting the feeling that my 140 is going to be pending until they are ready to adjudicate my 485 application. This would really suck since I'm all ready to move to a new role using AC21 portability provisions.

Messed up the dates in my original message...

The correct dates are as follows:

I-140 applied on 12/16/2002 -> still pending
I-485 applied on 4/12/2003 -> still pending
FP taken : 7/1/2003
FP Cleared : 7/10/2003
Last Updated field on the portfolio for both cases : 7/30/2003

Can you guys file your category

Both GC Feek and Richlee provide details on whether you guys filed in EB1 or EB2? Did u guys call the senator??
 
My category is EB3.

I spoke to my attorney regarding the delay and she keeps giving me the story that she has engaged the AILA liason at TSC regarding this matter. She has been saying this for last 3 months. I called my local Congresss Rep's office for help. They got all my details and asked me to fax them a authority letter. But I did not do that since my attorney said that it would be a better idea to wait for the AILA liason to respond. I'm kinda loosing faith in this AILA freaking liason. It doesnt seem like they are in any rush at all to get back to us on this matter. I was thinking of giving my attorney a deadline of May 31. If she cannot resolve this matter by that date then I might re-engage the local Rep's office.
 
Here is my case. (TSC)

I-140 RD: 1/29/2003, latest update: 04/21/2004 . EB2.
I-485 RD: 04/23/2003, latest update: 02/11/2004
FP taken : June 18 2003
FP Cleared : June 27 2003.

Got my my second EAD couple of weeks ago. I got my first AP last september 2003. Second AP is still pending.

Texas Consolidated I140 Tracker

We have many threads running for Texas I140 and I485 cases. Don’t you think we can save time and efforts by posting only to one thread for all our questions and concerns for I140 and I485? I propose "Texas Consolidated I140 Tracker" to be the common thread. Do you agree with me?
