question about birth certificate

I am a citizen and applying for AOS for parents' greencard. I have a few questions and would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out:

1. Should I file seperate petition for mom and dad?
2. We only have one original of my birth certificate, one original of their marraige certificate. It is ok to just make a copy and submit with either mom and dad's application?

Never send original documents unless requested Make copies and send copies of your personal documents. If you send original, it is a long process to get it back (if you get it back)

Just like what NeShawn said, don't ever send your original paperwork!

Photocopy them and send the photocopies with your application forms. Bring the originals to the interview if they want to see it, but never let them keep those. They are YOURS!!!
