Question about AP

Hi,

My wife is going to travel outside of the states with her AP. But her EAD is still pending. My question is does she need an EAD with her to get back? She doesn't work currently.

EAD is for employment only. She won't need EAD. She only needs AP to come back along with pending AOS receipts.
