Question about affidavit of support

My wife just graduated from college, didn't make any money at all this year or the 2 years before. However, I've been working for the past 5 years, making way more than the powerty level.
Can someone let me know if we can still apply for GC? My wife is a US citizen, we got married last month. Thanks.

She fills I-864 even though she doesnt meet the requirements

You fill I-864A to include your income and submit a copy of your tax returns for the previous three years. You can do this only if you shared the same address with the sponsor for atleast the last 6 months.

OR

Get a joint sponsor

OR

Show assets you own with value that meets or exceeds requirements

I'm also in the same situation as cool1sh. My wife is a US citizen and I'm trying to apply for my GC through her. I'm currently holding H-1B visa. My wife doesn't work right now so I will have to use my income to satisfy the poverty level. However, the form I-864 says I also have to show that my income will come from the same source after immigration. How do I show this ? Thanks for anybody's help.
