QUESTION ABOUT "affidavit of support"

I'm preparing form I-485, I765, and affadavit of support (with approved I-130).
One of my big confusing is affadavit of support.????? My wife is a U.S. citizen and filing this one for me(F-1 out of status). I've been working in pizza place with no work permit since last year.
My question is:
1. Can we use both of use our tax return(joint-filing) for affadavit of support.
2. I read from the the USCIS website said that it is OK to get green card even I've been out of status and work without authorization.

Answer1) It is not recommend using a tax return which shows you have been woking illegally.

Answer 2) It is not advised to work without work authorization. I don't have any experience regarding cases where spouses have worked illegally.
As far as you being out of status ...this is generally forgiven for spouses of citizen.

Advice is- try to apply for I-765 and get the work authorization as soon as you can so that you do not have to work illegaly.
